Teri Fotheringham

Beyond photography, my life has been enriched by my love for dogs, especially Rhett, my remarkable Border Collie.

Rhett’s gentle and calm nature led us to become a certified therapy dog team with Denver Pet Partners. Together, we volunteered at treatment centers for at-risk youth, supported children’s victims units, and participated in special events such as the 20th anniversary of the Columbine tragedy, Wapiyapi Camp for pediatric cancer patients, and the Walmart shooting in Thornton.

Rhett’s unique temperament also qualified us as an Accredited Crisis Response Team. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were deployed to support first responders and military personnel, offering comfort and a moment of peace during challenging times. The unconditional love and comfort Rhett provided is a testament to the healing power of the human-animal bond.

After 11 years of dedicated service, Rhett has now passed. I look forward to the next chapter and the search for another therapy dog— I have adopted Poet, my 5th Border Collie, and hopefully he will be that dog! Now I am content with being a team leader and helping other Denver Pet Partner teams at events. It is so rewarding to watch the teams connect with students at destressing events, pediatric cancer kids bonding with our dogs at camp, legislators taking a break with the teams during sessions and mass shooting victims or suicide loss survivors receiving the unconditional love and human-animal bond of a therapy dog.

About Teri

I make it a priority to stay current with the latest techniques, products, and software demonstrating my dedication to continual growth and innovation.

This commitment allows me to consistently deliver the highest quality results, tailored to each client’s unique needs. By capturing the true essence of my clients’ projects—whether it’s architecture, interior design, or lifestyle branding—I strive not only to create stunning visuals but also to contribute meaningfully to their success. This approach has helped me foster long-term relationships and earn repeat business, as I believe that trust and collaboration are essential to outstanding photography.

I have been photographing architecture for over 30 years and I continue to be excited when I sit down at my desk, download the photos, and begin the editing process. It is an unusual job, as I get to arrive at a “new” working environment every day. I truly love my job, the people I meet and especially the friends I have made along the way.
